The needs of each resident are taken into consideration when designing their custom home. We strive to deliver all of this by remaining flexible as a willow but solid as an oak.

Brian Grainger is the founder of Communities by Grainger and has been building homes for over 25 years in DeKalb County, totaling over 600 single family and townhome/condo homes. Brian responded to a need in the community about 10 years ago when he began focusing on 55+ communities. He started with the Somerset Farms community in Sycamore, IL. Somerset Farms sold out in 2018 and Brian has been focusing on 55+ Communities ever since!

Brian and Susie have four children Kyra, Briden, Kloe, and Braysen. The whole family helps on the job site and in the office from time to time. Brian and Susie are not only the owners but work with every client who purchases, by helping them design their dream home and in the luxury leasing communities they work with every resident.
